Finalità

Purpose

Il corso si propone di fornire le conoscenze teoriche e tecniche necessarie per l’utilizzo della stimolazione elettrica transcranica (tES) nelle sue principali modalità di applicazione: stimolazione a corrente continua (tDCS), a corrente alternata (tACS), e random-noise (tRNS). Inoltre, verrà affrontata la differenza fra montaggio bipolare,ad alta definizione e montaggio multifocale. Verranno illustrati due diversi dispostivi tES. I partecipanti avranno l’opportunità di acquisire le competenze di base necessarie per definire in autonomia e in sicurezza protocolli sperimentali di stimolazione cerebrale non invasiva tramite tES e per formulare semplici ipotesi di ricerca che possano servirsi di tali metodi.

The course aims to provide the theoretical and technical knowledge necessary to use transcranial electrical stimulation (tES) in its main application modalities: direct current stimulation (tDCS), alternating current stimulation (tACS), and random-noise stimulation (tRNS). In addition, the difference between bipolar, high-definition and multifocal montage will be addressed. Two different tES devices will be illustrated. Participants will have the opportunity to acquire the basic skills necessary to independently and safely define experimental protocols for non-invasive brain stimulation using tES and to formulate simple research hypotheses using of these devises.

- Pratica: programmare lo stimolatore, gestire la sessione sperimentale
Lezione 3
- Teoria: parametri di stimolazione, disegno sperimentale
- Pratica: utilizzo del software NIC
Lezione 4
- Teoria: Meccanismi d’azione, applicazioni sperimentali e cliniche
- Pratica: utilizzo del software BrainSTIM
Lezione 5
- Teoria: Pianificazione e discussione di protocolli TES
- Test di apprendimento
