Mobility opportunities

The University of Padua offers numerous international mobility opportunities. These programs aim to promote internationalization, cultural exchange, and academic enrichment through study, research, and work experiences abroad. Arqus
Arqus is a European University Alliance that brings together nine leading universities across Europe: Granada, Graz, Leipzig, Lyon, Maynooth, Minho, Padua, Vilnius, and Wroclaw. Arqus strives to enhance collaboration, innovation, and resource sharing among its member universities, with a focus on supporting academic staff, researchers, and promoting open science practices.

Shaping a World Class University, SWCU
The University of Padua promotes global internationalization to enhance its degree programs and improve its international ranking.
The 'Shaping a World-Class University' initiative typically includes two calls, one in the springtime and one in autumn. These calls support various internationalization activities, such as: Short-term visiting professors, Virtual & Collaborative programs, Structured mobility programs for credits or degrees, Blended or Face-to-face Summer/Winter Schools, Development cooperation activities.

Calls Erasmus+ for Teaching Staff Mobility for European and extra-European Countries
The Erasmus+ Programme offers mobility grants to teaching staff for periods of instruction abroad. To be eligible, there must be an active inter-institutional agreement between the University of Padua and the host institution for the specific academic year.

Université de Lausanne, Switzerland
Since 2021, the University of Padua and the University of Lausanne (Switzerland) established a strategic partnership. This collaboration aims to enhance joint teaching and research initiatives, while facilitating the exchange of students, PhD candidates, and staff between the two institutions.

University of St Andrews
