Collaborations
Our research on invertebrates are run in the local Museum of Living Insects, thanks to the great collaboration with its Director, Dr. Enzo Moretto.

It is possible for students to get involved in research projects on animal cognition (on several animal species) in the Center for Mind/Brain Sciences (Rovereto, University of Trento), in collaboration with the CiMec Director, Prof. Giorgio Vallortigara. Projects are mostly focused on social predispositions and spontaneous inborn capabilities. Ideal candidates are resident in Trentino.

Some research studies are conducted in collaboration with the Baby Lab of the University of Padua, with Prof. Francesca Simion. These studies aim to investigate the early development of cognitive abilities in human babies and in chicks, in a comparative prospective.

Some of our studies that employ the black garden ant (Lasius niger) as model species are carried out in collaboration with the Animal Comparative Economics lab, held by dr. Tomer Czaczkes.
