Research area:
- Time perception and cognitive functions (i.e. attention and working memory) involved in temporal processing in university students and healthy older adults. Particular attention is dedicated on different temporal ranges (from milliseconds to few seconds) and on the differences between the temporal tasks used and modalities (visual vs. auditory).
- Time perception in clinical populations such as traumatic brain injury (TBI) patients and Parkinson’s patients.
- Evaluating the effects of emotion on time perception.
- Using non invasive brain stimulation techniques to investigate the brain regions and networks of temporal processing.
