On Saturday, 20 June, from 9:30 a.m., the event Carlo Umiltà: A Legacy That Continues will be held in the Sala dell’Archivio Antico at Palazzo del Bo.

The aim of this event, held one year after Professor Umiltà’s passing, is to remember him and to bear witness to how everything he taught and bequeathed to the scientific community will continue to live on in the work of his students, and of all those who had the precious opportunity to know him and work with him.

The Carlo Arrigo Umiltà Prize will also be presented during the event: an award for the best scientific work in Professor Umiltà’s research areas conducted by young researchers, together with financial support intended, first and foremost, as an encouragement to those at the beginning of their careers.
