Projects/Collaborations

In this section, our objective is to showcase our collaborative national and international projects involving other teams, entities, and institutions.

Digital Interventions for Psychiatric and Psychological Services (DIPPS)

This project aims to develop and validate a digital platform for mental health. Its purpose is to assist psychologists and psychiatrists throughout the entire continuum of care, from initial assessment to continuous monitoring and follow-up. A prediction system will analyze patient data to identify early warning signs of potential deterioration in mental health, thereby enabling health professionals to intervene and prevent the onset or exacerbation of adverse mental health outcomes. The clinical populations of interest include mood disorders, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, and personality disorders. We are actively seeking collaboration with clinical centers.

  Collaboration with the fNIRS Laboratory

Functional Near Infrared Spectroscopy (fNIRS) is a young technique that is increasingly used in cognitive neuroscience due to its portability, versatility and minimal invasiveness (NIRSport2). It can be used with different populations and in several laboratory contexts (e.g., CAVE Lab), and has the advantage of being more tolerant to motion than other neuroimaging techniques.

  ENPAP - “Vivere Meglio”

Spearheaded by the National Institute of Pension and Assistance for Psychologists (ENPAP), this initiative addressing psychological distress as a pressing societal concern aims to alleviate the burdens of common psychological disorders in Italy. Through evidence-based psychological and psychotherapeutic interventions, the project targets approximately 10,000 individuals facing anxiety and depression, fostering societal well-being and enlarging mental health care access throughout Italy. Partnering with the University of Padua's Center for Psychological Clinical Services (SCUP), “Vivere Meglio” ensures high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic pathways. QPLab contributes to the project by assessing valuable data on mental health status and intervention effectiveness.
