“Voci di Scienza, Voci di Donna 2026” Award to Bianca Bonato

Bianca Bonato has been awarded the recognition “Voci di Scienza, Voci di Donna 2026”, granted by Radio Parlamentare – Percorso Consapevole and the Intergruppo parlamentare per la Conoscenza e la Ricerca Scientifica.

Bianca Bonato, RTDa researcher at the Department of General Psychology Unipd and involved in the ERC “ROOMORS” project, has been awarded the recognition “Voci di Scienza, Voci di Donna 2026”, granted by Radio Parlamentare – Percorso Consapevole and the Intergruppo parlamentare per la Conoscenza e la Ricerca Scientifica.

The award, presented on the occasion of International Women’s Day, aims to highlight the scientific and cultural contribution of women scholars who, through their research, promote the advancement of knowledge and the civic development of society.

The recognition is not intended as a lifetime achievement award, but rather as an acknowledgment of the value of a scholar’s scientific path and of the public significance of her commitment within the academic community and society.

The award ceremony will take place on 25 March 2026 at the prestigious Sala Spadolini of the Ministry of Culture in Rome, in the presence of institutional representatives. On that occasion, Dr. Bonato will deliver a talk addressed in particular to female students and young women, sharing her scientific and professional experience and offering a reflection on the role of women in contemporary science.
