Hands, Numbers and the Brain: a Lifelong Connection

Final Presentation of the NumAct Project

How do hands and movement influence our ability to process numbers? We will present the results of three studies conducted within the NumAct project “Numerical skills in action: contribution of the hand motor system to number processing across the lifespan” (PRIN – Research Projects of Relevant National Interest), exploring the relationship between hands and numbers from childhood to older adulthood, with implications for education and active ageing.
